CMS VATAVARAN - Environment and Wildlife Film Festival is a concept to make awareness about the wildlife of India and save our nature and the wilds which are the parts of this nature.

Caught up in their fast – paced, technology – driven lives, human beings are forgetting the laws of Nature. Consequently, mankind is imperiled: natural calamities such as tsunami, earthquake is on the rise, global warming is melting glaciers.  The music video “Maa-e-Ri – a lyrical conversation with Mother Nature” documents these perils and urges respect for the Nature’s laws for a sustainable future. Let Nature be our Teacher. Now is the time to reconnect with Mother Earth. How we treat Mother Earth will affect the children yet to be born. Let’s consciously think about the generations to come.

This music video  is already doing the rounds of the world travelling to reputed film festivals in India and abroad like the Shaan-e-Awadh International Film Festival 2011, CMS VATAVARAN 2011, New Delhi, 3rd International Film Festival Ahmedabad, 7th International Children’s Film Festival of India, Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (KIMFF), Sundance Film Festival, Foyle Film Festival.

The delay is because I want to take the music video to the festival circuit and promote the video all over the world”. “Maa-e-Ri – a lyrical conversation with Mother Nature”, has a unique concept a universal message of motherhood where Kalpana plays symbolically plays the human race.
Says Kalpana, “this music video has been receiving some great response and this is a global issue and deserves all attention possible. I enjoyed the entire phase of the making of “Maa-e-Ri – a lyrical conversation with Mother Nature”— and I am really proud of my project.
